If you need more out of your Jeep off-roaders.
Off-roading is one of the many talents the Wrangler or Gladiator possess. The Jeep products are known for their ability to conquer roads less traveled. Most people buy them because they have this reputation.
Mopar and Jeep Performance Parts, FCA (specifically Mopar) want to improve that by offering an official factory-installed lift kit for both vehicles. Although there are many aftermarket parts available for off-roading, this kit is officially made by FCA. This will not void your warranty.
However, there is one problem. Only EcoDiesel-powered Jeep models can get the factory lift kit.
“Our Jeep portfolio is more than 500 quality-tested, factory-engineered parts and accessories,” stated Mark Bosanac, Head Mopar Service Parts and Customer Care, FCA North America.
Four Fox shocks, front lower control arms and front stabilizer links are included in the lift kit. There are also front and back bump stops. They are packed in a reusable wooden box with Jeep branding.
The lift kit increases both vehicles’ offroad capabilities by increasing suspension articulation 18 percent. The monotube shock absorbers made of aluminum Fox are designed to increase weight, durability and cooling in off-road conditions. While the springs were specifically developed for use with diesel engines, they are more durable and can withstand extreme temperatures. To provide ideal caster settings, the front lower control arms have been extended to match stock. Heavy-duty bushings improve vehicle control and help with suspension articulation. The best thing about the kit is that it doesn’t need drilling, cutting or welding.
The JPP Wrangler lift kits (Part#: 77072399AE), are now available to purchase. However, the JPP Gladiator lift kits (Part#: 77072469AC), will be available by late summer. Each kit comes with an MSRP price of $1,495 as well as a two-year/unlimited mileage warranty or the remainder of the vehicle’s warranty.
