Only 10 examples will ever be made, at a total cost of EUR68,000.
Wranglers custom Jeep Wranglers have been around for a while. The most popular, most extravagant, and tallest examples often draw the most attention, especially from those attending SEMA. Geiger Cars, a German aftermarket specialist, has chosen to honor an iconic military vehicle with their latest build.
It is called the “Geiger-Willys” Jeep by the shop. The name refers to the unique Willys Jeep that was introduced in 1940s as a military vehicle. The JK Wrangler two-door is finished in olive green Army-style paint from top to bottom. It also has a matching olive top and Willys WW2-style logos and lettering throughout.
Exterior features include Rugged Ridge bumpers that have a motorized winch and steel wheels with the same olive-green body color wrapped in 265/70R17 tires. Sound flap exhaust systems are also included. The Jeep’s cabin has fabric seats that are coated with the same olive-green finish as the exterior. This gives it a rugged appearance inside and out.
The same factory 3.6-liter Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 engine remains under the hood. Geiger decided to keep the engine stock in order to preserve its authenticity. The V6 produces a respectable 284 horsepower (211 Kilowatts) as well as 255 pound-feet (347 Nms) of torque. It can be paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or an automatic transmission with all-wheel-drive.
A complete example from Geiger Cars Munich will cost buyers EUR68,900 (or 80,700). The shop claims that only 10 examples of the throwback Jeeps will be made.
