These are just a few of the many sweet rides Clarkson has owned, including the Alfa Romeo GTV6 and the McLaren675LT.
Alfa Romeo GTV6
This slide show’s red Alfa is the second Alfa Romeo GTV6 to pass through Clarkson’s garage. Clarkson also used the same car in Scotland for The Grand Tour’s third series. Although it was a typical road trip adventure that Clarkson started, Clarkson never stopped enjoying the ride. Clarkson stated that “generally when these jobs are finished these cars end up. . . I don’t know exactly where. But I do know where it will end up: at mine.” We have great respect for him and his love of classics such as this.
Aston Martin Virage
The Virage is larger than the Vantage or DB9 and could be the perfect Aston Martin for Jeremy Clarkson. Given his passion for Aston Martin, and the V12 under the hood, it’s no surprise that he has one.
BMW M3 CSL
“The ultimate expression BMW.” These were the words Jeremy Clarkson used when describing the CSL version of the iconic M3. The location was certainly a plus – Clarkson drove the M3 at the Isle of Man on Top Gear, where there were no speed limits. But that wasn’t the only thing that motivated him to get a CSL for his garage.
Ferrari F355
A Ferrari would be a perfect addition to any car collection. After testing the F355 on Top Gear Jeremy Clarkson loved it so much, he decided that he would buy one. It wasn’t a happy purchase. He was apparently stopped by police quite often, and he didn’t like the removable spyder roof.
Ford Escort RS Cosworth
The Ford Escort Cosworth, a hot hatchback that was rally-bred and had all-wheel drive, was a forbidden dream for thousands. It’s no wonder Jezza owned one.
Ford GT
Although it looked perfect, Clarkson quickly learned that driving your heroes is not the same thing as owning them. Clarkson bought the first-generation Ford GT, but it proved too large for British roads and too thirsty for fuel. It was also plagued by electrical problems, which eventually led to his selling the car.
McLaren 675LT
A brand new McLaren 675 LT McLaren 675 LT was delivered shortly after the ink had dried on The Grand Tour contract. It’s a good thing it wasn’t inside when Hammond & May destroyed Clarkson’s house in the third episode TGT’s 1 season.
Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Series
Clarkson’s Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Series was perhaps the most talked-about personal car. Despite its many battery issues, he seemed to praise the tire-smoking machine with a consistent praise. He tweeted about the sale, saying that “This was a sad day.” “I just sold my black AMG.” It was probably one of his favorite cars.
Volkswagen Golf GTI
Jeremy Clarkson, a happy owner a Volkswagen Golf GTI, is directly derived from his tweet regarding the Dieselgate scandal of 2015. He said that he was very happy with his new car in the blurb.
Volvo XC90
Jeremy Clarkson is believed to have owned many Volvo XC90s in his lifetime. After reviewing the second-generation crossover, he admitted that he was a big fan of the Swedish model. We suspect Clarkson will be tempted to get the new XC90, which has been improved in almost every way.
When you think about a car-themed TV show, Top Gear and the Grand Tour are likely to come to your mind. The modern era Top Gear was created by journalist Jeremy Clarkson and producer Andy Wilman. It brought Clarkson and co-presenters James May, Richard Hammond, worldwide fame.
He is a witty auto critic who has owned some of the most beautiful cars in the world. Although he rarely talks about his garage, we do have a list with 10 amazing rides that he has mentioned in tweets and statements over the years. Although we don’t know if any of his recent purchases have been made, this list should be enough to make any petrolhead proud.
