Subaru also returns to the series.
When YouTube was just a start, the first Gymkhana YouTube video was uploaded 12 years ago. It was the beginning of a phenomenon that continues to thrive today. There have been 10 installments and hundreds of millions of views. DirtFish.com has been the driving force behind all of these, but that is changing in 2020. Block will not be behind the wheel for the 11th installment, which is expected to be filmed later in the year. Travis Pastrana, a regular series guest star, will be the one to take the controls for the first-time.
Block will be taking a break from the series in the next installment. Subaru, Hoonigan and Vermont SportsCar, Subaru’s factory racing partner, have been working behind-the scenes to put together the project. Pastrana was not involved. Block and Pastrana concluded their “Gymkhana Grid Stay at Home Edition” challenge. This saw both families performing their best Gymkhana moves online.
Block will not be the first person to take the driver’s seat in the star car. Pastrana is not new to Gymkhana. Pastrana appeared in Gymkhana 5 as well as Gymkhana 10 He also appeared in Gymkhana 5 and Gymkhana 10. We would bet on Pastrana driving a modified WrX STI.
