This is a great way to represent the company paying the salary.
The Kia Seltos sells like hotcakes. It was also named the fastest selling vehicle on the US market last October. The average time it takes for dealers to find a new buyer for the South Korean entry-level crossover was 7.7 days. Even the most popular products on the automobile market need to be refreshed. Kia is currently working on a redesign for the Seltos.
One prototype of the Seltos was captured by our spy photographers in Scandinavia. It was heavily camouflaged and being tested on public roads. They were surprised by the pilots’ reaction to the camera and were likely upset. Our spies were able to capture a good portion of the shots using the facelifted Seltos.
The prototype featured a lot camouflage, which is somewhat surprising considering that we are looking at a midcycle refresh and not a new model. Although it’s hard to see the front, we do have some unofficial information. The front fascia will receive a new bumper as well as redesigned headlights. It is possible that a new grille might be on the horizon, though nothing can be confirmed at this time.
Our Senior Editor Brett T. Evans drove the Seltos back to 2020 and was pleased with how it felt behind the wheel. However, he discovered that looking at the interior was more fun than sitting in it. We believe Kia will improve the ambience in the cabin.
Under the hood, there are no changes. Power will still be supplied by two gasoline engines. While the 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine will continue to be available in lower trim levels, a turbo 1.6-liter engine with more power will be an option. These engines can be modified only minimally.
