The 2012 Picanto is the first model to get a 3-door version. Picanto’s 3-door variant is a sportier version the 5-door hatch variant.

Kia UK announced the new Picanto 3-door model.

This 3-door hatch variant of the Ford-ish Picanto looks a lot sportier. It is the first Picanto with this body-style. The car’s main grille is larger than the 5-door standard model, and the front bumper has been reshaped so that it looks wider and lower.

To make the 3-door Picanto more sporty, it also has its own trim structure and color scheme.

The 2012 Picanto 3-door hatch will go on sale in the United Kingdom starting September 1st.
