Koenigsegg Agera RSR unveiled for Japan

As if the regular’ Agera RS weren’t already a beautiful sight to see.

Last week was the first Agera RS in Europe. Now Koenigsegg has two additional cars exclusively for Japan. This duo is a little more unique than the regular model, as it has several modifications to make it worthy the newly attributed ‘Agera RS’ moniker.

Koenigsegg Japan commissioned all three vehicles as part of its Agera RS total production run of 25 units, which has all been sold. Final deliveries will take place in 2017.

It can produce a staggering 1,160 horsepower (865 kilowatts), and a maximum torque output of 945 pound feet (1,280 Newton-meters). It’s not surprising that the performance is so impressive with all the power hidden beneath the carbon skin: 0-186 mph (0-325 kph), in 14 seconds, and 0-250mph (0-400 km/h) within 20 seconds.

It’s not known what the price was, but it is likely to be a lot more than the $1.65-million Agera RS. As if there is a Koenigsegg…
