Edo Competition unveils a new tuning program to the Koenigsegg CR. It is designed to improve acceleration and enhance drivability.
Although the Koenigsegg CCR is powerful enough to rival supercars, one owner found it a little too boring.
He enlisted the help of edo Competition to adjust the drive ratio and remap the ECU. The twin-supercharged, 4.7-liter V8 engine has a torque peak earlier than before and produces 891 PS (655kW/679 hp). Oddly enough, the top speed has been “reduced slightly” to 390 km/h (242 miles).
To fix the “notchy” gear changes, edo engineers disassembled and replaced the plastic bushings by Uniball units. This improves acceleration and enhances drivability.
The cabin also features Alcantara upholstery and a redesigned centre console. It also has an updated infotainment system.
