The owner plans to rebuild the vehicle.
It is difficult to wreck any car, but the severe damage to a Koenigsegg Special One valued at $1.5 million must have really affected an owner’s heart. This terrible pain is being felt by a Mexican owner, and photos of the damage are available for all to see.
The photos show that the majority of the damage has been done to the passenger side. However, a closer inspection shows that there is some damage to the driver’s side bumper. The most damage is to the front end, particularly the area below the A-pillar that houses the body panel. As you can see, the suspension is also damaged by the way that the wheel is oriented.
According to Infobae the owner plans to rebuild the car but it could take a while. Koenigsegg doesn’t appear to have spare parts available to repair the car immediately, so the owner must wait for the automaker before attempting to rebuild them.

This CCXR was the focus of most of the posts. The first post, dated August 7, 2018, , featured the vehicle’s emblem and the message “coming home soon”. Later images captured the machine’s arrival to Mexico in October 2018.. Koenigsegg originally built the car in blue for Ana Al-Thani of Qatar, who wanted it with matching interior.
Koenigsegg created the CCXR, a modified version of the CCX. It allowed the 4.7-liter twin supercharged V8 to run on E85 or E100 ethanol. The powerplant produced 1,004 horsepower (749kilowatts).
