We heard Ferrari’s Head of Sporting Activity Department confirm plans for a track-focused version of the LaFerrari. Now, a test mule has been captured on the ‘Ring. The LaFerrariXX’s engine is expected to provide a very loud soundtrack, according to spy photographers. It will be revealed in January or February 2015.
The unpainted carbon fiber body of the test mule was visible and likely featured plastic windows to reduce excess weight. The LaFerrariXX will be equipped with aerodynamic bits and pieces that should help it accelerate around corners, even though they are not visible.
