It is most likely powered by an electrified, V12.
Lamborghini announced the Aventador Ultimae a year ago as the end of a decade-long Aventador story. The supercar automaker is ready to move on and work on its new flagship product. We have spy photos that show a fully camouflaged prototype.
This trial car is a Lamborghini-esque design, and any child should easily be able recognize that it is indeed a Sant’Agata Biolognese vehicle. Although it is not wearing all of its production parts, there are lines and shapes that are likely to be in their final form.
The small LED daytime running lamps are only for the front. This car does not have any other lights. Camouflage suggests sharp lighting clusters that are more aggressive and narrow than the Aventador.
Lamborghini attempts to trick us with stickers imitating taillights, but the truth is that the clusters are hidden underneath. The taillights will have a very clean design and be Y-shaped, judging by the images. A rear spoiler can be seen with trapezoidal elements, high up on the rear fascia, above the quad exhaust system.
These pipes could be connected to a V12 engine, as Lamborghini confirmed that the Aventador replacement will use a 12-cylinder engine. It will be the brand’s third new V12 engine. There will likely be some form of electrification. Although it’s too soon to predict its power, we believe this unit will be more powerful than the Aventador Ultimae V12’s 770 horsepower (570 kilowatts) as well as 531 pound-feet (531 Newton-meters) of torque.
Lamborghini is likely in the middle of testing before the Aventador replacement can be launched. We expect to see the model fully next year. Additionally, we anticipate that we will be able to test different prototypes on public roads.
