Friends, do you believe that the Lamborghini Aventador has been around for 10 years? The supercar, which was launched in February 2011, was created to replace the decade-old Murcielago as Lambo’s flagship model. It does a fantastic job. It is still one the most powerful cars on the planet, despite numerous upgrades and special models.
It’s also the only car still in production with a naturally-aspirated V12 engine. It’s a 6.5-liter V12 engine that produces 740 horsepower (544 Kilowatts) as well as 509 pound-feet (690 Newton meters) in the Aventador. Wondering how fast it can go on the Autobahn. This video shows the Aventador cruising at more than 200 mph (3211 km/h) on Europe’s fastest highway.
AutoTopNL provided the video. We can see the Aventador accelerate from various speeds multiple times. This is most likely to warm up the engine and transmission. It is amazing to see a car accelerate to 124 mph in fourth gear at a speed of 80 mph (130 km/h).
As you might expect, the Aventador S can reach that speed without any problems. However, there were sections of the Autobahn that were very busy on that day. The left lane was also empty, and that is where the supercar Sant’Agata Bolognese reached its maximum potential.
The Aventador S handles it well at 214 mph (345 km/h). At a speed of almost three times Europe’s average highway speed, there was no shaking, vibrations or discomfort. It’s quite impressive!
