Lamborghini Forsennato Hypercar Is Edgy, Even By Italian Standards

Digitally, Dmitry Lazarev created the Lambo aggressive-looking.

The future direction of Lamborghin’s design is looking even more dramatic than before. Lamborghini’s concept cars, such as the Terzo millennio and limited-production vehicles like the Centenario, are quite outrageous. They have also pushed the boundaries of what is possible in design. One designer created a hypercar concept to fit in the Lamborghini lineup.

Dmitry Lazarev, a Russian rendering artist, has digitally created what he calls “The Forsennato” concept. This supercar is a fusion of all things Lamborghini, past and present. It took over a year to build. Although the exterior is handsome, it includes enough dramatic cues that will make the Aventador blush.

The front fascia is aggressive, with slim LED headlights and carbon fiber splitters. The classic Lamborghini style of an angular nose dips into the barely visible central grille. Two more prominent grilles are added to either side. The rest of the body is equally dramatic.

A carbon fiber side splitter, which extends behind the front wheel, is highlighted. There are also two vents on each side that allow air to enter the engine bay. To match the side skirts, the carbon fiber roof features fin-like treatment. The roofline transitions to an aggressive rear and hugely flared fenders above the back tires.

Its four sculpted vents define the engine bay, as well as the central red spine running the length of its boot. The LED taillights are equally striking and can be seen accented with a large cooling vent at the center and two vents in each corner. The overall design is completed by a single trapezoidal exhaust tip.

Lazarev envisions that the hypercar would use a hybrid powertrain similar to the McLaren or Ferrari LaFerrari. This type of performance would allow it to compete directly against its fellow hypercars of 1,000 horsepower (745 kilowatt) in terms of performance and price.

The Forsennato is a concept car, unfortunately for those who love dramatic design. Lazarev hopes to one day be able to collaborate with Lamborghini and create a supercar which is as dramatic.
