Lamborghini Huracan goes from new to wrecked in 20 minutes

The life of this Performante Spyder was short.

A new car purchase is something most people only get to experience once in their lives. I have had the pleasure of taking delivery of a new car twice and the excitement was overwhelming each time. It’s hard to imagine how buying a Lamborghini must have been. But this Huracan owner won’t soon forget the day that the dealer gave him the keys to the Performante Spyder.

According to a message on posted by West Yorkshire police, the driver pulled over just 20 minutes after collecting his car. The details of what happened to the naturally-aspirated V10 supercar are still a mystery. But what happened after it broke down is even more shocking.

“Innocent motorist” was driving behind a van and couldn’t stop in time. The Lamborghini’s rear ended collided with the Lamborghini, causing serious damage to the Huracan droptop Huracan. The Sant’Agata Bolognese mid-engined beauty successfully used the pop-out antiroll bars. However, the force of the impact caused the rear-right wheel to come off.

The Performante Spyder is likely to be written off due to the majority of damage in the engine bay. This isn’t the first Performante to meet a tragic end in the United Kingdom. Last year, a coupe was smashed into a tree at the conclusion of a car meeting. The M1 highway was closed temporarily for the safety of the motorists.

The crash did not result in any serious injuries, although the van driver sustained some minor head injuries. Although it seems like the van driver was not at fault, rear-ending a vehicle usually means the opposite. At the time of writing, details about what actually happened are not known. It is possible that the Lamborghini driver pulled over suddenly, thereby denying the van driver sufficient time to react.
