Lamborghini Huracan RWD Spyder Evo: The Latest Rear-Drive Raging Bull

This model is the latest in a growing number of Huracan models.

There are three versions of the Lamborghini Huracan that you can choose from (not including Performante). These are the Evo coupe and convertible with all-wheel drives, the Evo coupe and Evo coupe with rear wheel drive. There’s now a fourth. With a convertible roof, the Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD Spyder completes the lineup. It also has power only at the rear wheels. It’s as powerful as the Huracans before it.

Huracan Evo RWD Spyder comes with a 5.2-liter V10 engine and a seven speed dual-clutch transmission. It is just like its hardtop sibling and has 610 horsepower (455 Kilowatts) as well as 413 pound-feet (560 Newton-meters) of torque. The RWD Spyder can sprint from 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.5 seconds, and then accelerate to a top speed at 201 mph (324 kmh). This is a little slower than the Evo RWD coupe which can reach 62 mph in just 3.3 seconds, and tops out at 220 mph (325 kmh).

The roof can be stowed away so that the speed drop is minimal. The Evo RWD Spyder’s soft top folds down in 17 seconds and can be folded at speeds up to 31 mph (50 kmh). This allows the V10’s sound to flow throughout the cabin. The soft top is available in several colors so that owners can match it with the Huracan Evo’s extensive range of paint colors. The standard set of 19-inch wheels comes with Pirelli P Zero tires. However, buyers can choose larger 20-inch wheels and carbon ceramic brakes.

Evo RWD Spyder is light because it uses lightweight materials such as aluminum and carbon fibre in its chassis and roof construction. The Huracan soft-top weighs just 3,326 lbs (1,509 kg) dry. This is just a few hundred more than the coupe which weighs in at 3,134 pounds (1.421 kilogram) dry. The Evo RWD Spyder’s interior features the same layout and materials of its hardtop sibling. It also has the 8.4-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay connectivity. The first Huracan Evo RWD Spyders from Huracan will be available in the United States this summer. Its starting price is $229,428, making them the most affordable Huracan. The Evo RWD Coupe is priced at $208,571, while the Evo AWD Coupe is priced at $261,274, while the Evo AWD Spyder costs $291,095.
