Lamborghini announced that the Huracan Spyder will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month.
Lamborghini has announced the Huracan Spyder will be unveiled next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
An report claiming Lamborghini would remove the Huracan’s roof for the Geneva Motor Show in March 2016 was published late July. However, it appears that this is not true. A company official stated to Autovisie that the open-top supercar will debut at IAA Frankfurt in just over a month and sales will begin shortly thereafter.
It is easy to visualize the car’s appearance. The attached rendering may be very close to the actual thing. It will be equipped with the coupe’s V10, 5.2-liter naturally-aspirated engine that produces 610 PS (448kW) and 560 Nm (413 Lb-ft) respectively. The transmission to both wheels via a 7-speed dual clutch is seamless.
The Huracan Spyder will be the first of two world premieres by the Sant’Agata Biolognese company at the upcoming Pebble beach Concours d’Elegance. The first is an roadster version of the Aventador Superveloce, while the second is an HyperVeloce that has 800 PS (588kW).
