Lambo slams April Fool’s jokes.
Lamborghini deserves credit for not trying to make people believe that the 2019 April Fool’s joke it is a real product. Although you won’t be able to buy the rig at the moment, we think that the supercar manufacturer’s idea of an angular trailer is cool enough to be worth a look.
The Centro Stile division of Lamborghini starts with the famously angular design aesthetic of the automaker that dates back to the Countach. This trailer is about twice the height of the Huracan that it tows, as the supercars are so low-slung. The trailer design by Lamborghini isn’t clear. It’s unclear whether stylists envision this as a small camper or a vehicle that can haul the owner’s stuff. Lambo’s aren’t known for having much cargo space. The rig could be used as a place to rest overnight for two, according to the side-mounted doors and lights at the front.
This setup would make it easy to enjoy endurance racing. You can take a trip to the Nurburgring 24-Hours or 24 Hours Of Le Mans in your Lamborghini and roll up to the campsite to enjoy the event from the most striking rig. The designers didn’t show the trailer being town by a Urus trailer in this rendering. This is an oddity. The company wants people to understand that its SUV can be taken off-road. This April Fool’s Day joke is a great way to get the message across. A Urus is a great choice for a luxurious camping trip if you are able to tailgate in an Bentley Bentayga.
