Lamborghini Sian Won’t Inspire Aventador Successor’s Design

Although the Aventador’s design language was shown by the Reventon, the Sian does not show the style of the next Lambo flagship.

The Lamborghini sian is unlike any other model in the Italian brand’s line of vehicles, according to . Lamborghini intends to keep it that way, as states. The supercar maker’s head for design, Mitja Borkert was interviewed by the British automotive magazine at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Sian and Heard:

Borkert said AutoCar, “That’s not a clear yes,” after being asked whether the Sian’s design language would influence the Lamborghini vehicles it plans to produce over the next decade. It’s a shame because the Sian’s lines look very elegant, but it’s also counter to Lamborghini’s practice of pre-showing their design language. It also goes against the Lamborghini reventon’s practice of displaying the general design language for the Murcielago replacement, the Aventador.

Lusty Lambos

The Sian, limited to only 63 units, is powered by a 6.5-liter V12 motor and an electric motor that together produce more than 800 horses. The Lambo, a limited edition model, can reach speeds of 62 mph in 2.8 seconds and more than 200 mph.

The Sian is a fast car. The Sian is also extremely expensive. Buyers will have to spend more than $3.5million to buy one of these supercars. It sounds like the money will go towards a Lamborghini, which will be unlike any other Lamborghini produced by the Italian automaker in years to come.
