It also has a large wing.

Squadra Corse, Lamborghini’s racing division, has something new in the works. It looks like a modified Huracan with wild, track-ready bodywork.

The teaser isn’t very clear. Squadra Corse confirms that this is their “newest motorsport vehicle” and promises “an unparalleled experience.”

The new Huracan features narrow headlights with minimalist taillights. The fenders are wider than the rear, with vents at their top. An air intake scoop is mounted on the roof and directs air to engine bay. The rear deck features a huge wing and a massive diffuser that manages airflow.

Lambo has not yet indicated where he plans to race the vehicle. The Huracan is currently being built by the company for international GT3-class competition, and the Super Trofeo to be used in the automaker’s one make series. Squadra Corse is free to create any event it wishes, so there’s no need for the brand to follow any rules.

SquadraCorse had earlier in April celebrated the completion of its 400th Huracan racecar. In 2014, the Super Trofeo version debuted. The GT3 was introduced in 2015. The model won three consecutive 24 Hours of Daytona wins and two 12 Hours of Sebring victories.

The current Super Trofeo shares approximately 70% with a road-going Huracan . These changes include changing the engine management system, fitting a sequential gearbox and tweaking aerodynamics.

Squadra Corse also contributed to the Huracan Super Trofeo Omologata, which is a road-going race car. The model is lighter than the Huracan Performante at 95 pounds (43 kg). Redesigned exterior parts provide 53 percent more downforce than the Performante. It is a naturally-aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine that produces 630 horsepower (470 Kilowatts) as well as 417 pound-feet (565 Newton meters). Brembo CCM R carbon-ceramic brakes reduce the machine’s speed. This performance costs $327,838.
