Lamborghini Urus Evo Spy Shots Reveal Crossover with No Camo

You can see the design changes made before the reveal.

The Lamborghini Urus updated should be visible from cover by this time next year. A new set of spy photos suggests that it may happen very soon. The Urus Evo cold weather testing was captured by our spy photographers without any camouflage. These changes aren’t major, since this crossover is undergoing a mid-cycle refresh. However, it receives revised front and back fascias and could have other design changes.

The front is where the bulk of styling changes are made. Lamborghini The Urus Evo will get a new bumper design. It has a bigger grille opening and more side air intakes. New side sills are included and there are new air outlets under the hood. The rear fenders are slightly wider than the previous version. There are also different air outlets. It appears that Lamborghini massaged the rear diffuse.

The current twin-turbocharged, 4.0-liter V8 should power the Urus Evo. The current twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 produces 641 horsepower (or 479 kilowatts) as well as 628 pound-feet (848 Newton meters) of torque. However, there are rumors suggesting that a stronger version is in development. We are not sure what this means, but there may be other changes. Another rumor suggests that a PHEV may also be in development. One of our spy photographers managed to capture a bizarre Urus test vehicle while analysing its exhaust note.

Although we haven’t yet seen the interior, it is unlikely that Lamborghini will make major changes to the Urus. Although the company may make some minor tweaks to its infotainment system, or trim, customers shouldn’t expect a complete overhaul with new screens and rearranged buttons. Lamborghini has not yet set a launch date for the updated crossover. However, the refreshed model will likely go on sale in Europe by the end of this year. Lamborghini still has plenty of time, but the launch in America is unlikely to happen before 2023.
