It’s true and it’s amazing.
The Final edition by Mitsubishi replaced the Lancer Evolution at the end 2015, and there’s a chance that the Evo might return one day. Officials at Mitsu have suggested that the famed moniker could be applied to an SUV in the same way as the Eclipse, which is a crossover.
What if the Evo XI was to be reintroduced as a sedan, just like its purists? Dytko Sport is trying to answer this question. It’s a Polish company that specializes in the manufacture and sale of replacement parts for Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution rally cars. Proto Cars has teamed up to build an Evo X sports sedan and customize it.
Dytko Sport promises that more details will be revealed next weekend. The headlights on the racy sedan appear to be the same as those in the RS. Eclipse Cross The taillights emit a Jaguar-y vibe. The Lancer Edition R, as its creator has christened it, looks great with its custom-ventilated hood and bulging fenders. It is amazing how much work was put into the design of the car when Dytko Sports considers the Dynamic Shield design language. Although photos of the interior are not yet available, we can see that the car features two body-hugging front seats as well as a roll cage.
We are eager to find out more about the car, including any modifications to the powertrain, suspension, or brakes. The Final Edition, which consisted of 1,600 copies, had 303 horsepower and just 305 pound-feet (413 Newton meters) of torque from the slightly modified turbocharged engine. A four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine was connected to a 5-speed manual gearbox that sent power to an all wheel-drive system.
