Lancia’s new 10-year strategic plan, announced last month, will give it a fresh lease of life after years of silence and very little activity. Although purists might not like the news that the brand will go fully electric in 2028 and three new models will follow in the next six-years, everyone is likely to be excited about the announcement. A flagship SUV in Europe’s D segment will be one of those models. It will launch in 2026 to compete with the new Citroen C5X X and the Opel Insignia, both on the Old continent.
