Land Rover Defender Safari Electric Vehicle Concept revealed

The all-electric Defender concept has a motor of 59 kW (80HP) and can travel up to 80 km (50 mi).

It is always convenient to be able sneak up on wildlife while on safari.

Land Rover offers this Defender Safari Electric Vehicle concept.

The Land Rover Defender Safari Electric Motor was developed locally in South Africa in partnership with the British automaker and Barker Performance Products. It has a 59 kW AC induction electric motor (80 PS) and 330 Nm torque.

A 27kWh, 300V battery pack supplied by European company Axeon gives the permanent all-wheel drive Defender a range up to 80km (50 miles), at speeds up to 60 km/h (33.7 mph).
