Both will be appearing at the 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
After eight years of hypercar dominance, the Koenigsegg Agera has finally given in. Two final Agera models have been completed and will be delivered to customers in Germany this weekend before heading to England for the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The final models were appropriately named by the company as Thor and Vader. You can also make your own Disney crossover joke.
These two Agera models are now Final Edition by Koenigsegg with the approval of their owners. The Final Edition series consists of three units that were designated in March 2016. However, the final two were completed in Angelholm by Koenigsegg. Koenigsegg based these two cars on the Agera RS. Owners have unlimited options and the option to add unique aerodynamic bits.
Thor is a two-tone, clear carbon car with diamond flake. It features a large Le Mans-style central Fin for high-speed stability. Koenigsegg also includes its usual array of active aerodynamic bits.
Vader, Thor’s companion and friend, is a traditional clear carbon finish, with white gold leaf highlights and a diamond flake. Two small winglets are located at the rear. The rear spoiler is massive and supported by large snakes. These snakes are able to be seen through the cabin roof. Thor and Vader have custom front wingslets and enlarged rear spoilers.
These Agera models pack a powerful 5.0-liter V8 that produces 1,360 horsepower and 1,011 lb-ft of torque. The car set a few speed records last year and became the fastest street-legal production vehicle in the world, achieving an average speed of 277.9 miles (444.6 km/h) over the two runs. This is insanely fast.
Koenigsegg has finished producing the Agera but the Swedish automaker isn’t content with its achievements. The Regera is still in production. Koenigsegg claims a replacement for Agera is in the works and will be on display at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. Book these flights now.
