No Technic? No problem.

Lego introduced its Technic Porsche 911 GT3RS a few years ago. It’s still a great piece of kit for car enthusiasts. The price ranges from $300 to $350. Although we don’t know how much Firas Abu Jaber spent on bricks in order to build his 911 GT3RS version, the final result is Lego-built that is just as impressive as the Technic edition.

Before we get into the Porsche, please visit Firas Abu Jaber’s Flickr page. While we have some of his Porsche photos in the gallery, you should also see Firas Abu-Jaber’s Flickr page. He is a true Lego prodigy and has exceptional taste in cars. His account is filled with amazing Lego builds. These include hypercars such as the Bugatti CHiron, classic 1930’s Rolls Royce roadsters and off-roaders. He even owns a K.I.T.T. Knight Rider. His account states that he is from Jordan and has over 2,500 followers. We can’t wait for the next chapter, so make that 2,501.

Let’s take a look at this Porsche. This might look familiar to someone not well-versed in Lego Technic builds. It’s a perfect color match and it looks like a 911 GT3 RS. This version is much more solid than the Technic edition, which has a lot of open space. It is amazing how everything on the Lego Lego build can be opened. The interior of the truck is stunningly detailed. He also shows the seats separately as an option for this vehicle.

This project was discovered by The Brothers Brick. Our first instinct was to try and compare it to the Technic Porsche. This is not going to happen, as a comparison of the two cars does not do them justice. Both models end up looking remarkably similar to the real thing (and, as a side effect, each other), but their approach is so unique that they are distinct entities.

Instead, let’s just enjoy the craftsmanship and talent that went into this super cool Porsche.
