Lexus LC F Spotted Hiding Aggressive Front Fascia

Lexus LC F Spotted Hiding Aggressive Front FasciaAlthough the badge on the back might say “LC 500”, there are many upgrades that suggest it is the hotter F version.

We shared a series of spy photos with the RC F just hours ago, and now Lexus is caught testing another F model. After months of speculations and rumors, we now have strong proof that an LC F is being developed as evidenced by these spy photos showing a prototype with a variety of upgrades. The stacked quad exhaust tips suggest that we are dealing with the F model in the same way as the RC F or GS F.

The massive intakes at the front of this car are meant to cool the engine. Although the front bumper isn’t yet production ready, we can see that the LC F will sport a much more aggressive fascia. The front wheel arches of the performance coupe are visible to be larger than those on other models.

The highly anticipated Lexus LC F was seen in Germany, testing alongside the Toyota Supra. It is rumored that it will feature a new biturbo 4.0 liter V8 engine with up to 621 horsepower (463 kilowatts). Others have suggested that it will be powered by an upgraded version of the 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8. Some even suggest a supercharged engine, but we aren’t so sure. You can also add the possibility of a hybrid to the mix and you have a pretty good guess as to what it will be powered by.

The LC500 will have a HTML0-liter V8 that produces 471 hp, 398 pound-feet (398 Newton-meters), and torque. However, whatever engine it features, the LC F is going to pack a lot more punch than the LC500 . The F will also be available with weight loss. This is due to the fact that the LC 500 is a hefty 4,280 lb (1,941 kg).

The LC F is expected to hit the market by the end of this decade.
