Each model gets slightly different upgrades.
The Lexus Black Line special-edition models let the automaker go one step further in the design of their products. The Lexus Black Line has been an option for the NX and UX crossovers in the past. Today, the company announced two additional models. The RC and ES Black Line special edition models have an updated exterior and interior, as well as a few extra niceties.
Lexus will restrict production of Black Line models. RC Only 350 coupes will be made. The special edition will be available on the RC 300 and RC 350 models in the F Sport grades. The standard features include LED headlights and 19-inch F Sport wheels in Black Sputtering Chrome. Darkened exhaust tips are also available. Inside, the aesthetics are similar with ash wood trim at the steering wheel and in the cabin, paired with silver-colored stitches.
The Lexus ES 350 will also have the trim. The limited production of the special edition sedan will be made, but only 1,500 units will be built. It is also based upon the F Sport Grade. Black mirrors are included on the ES, as well as darkened F Sport wheels and a spoiler at the rear. Lexus’ interior features a two-tone white-and-black interior, with gray stitching that is exclusive to the F Sport. The ES 350 Black Line will come in three exterior colors: Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0 and Obsidian. The RC Black Line can be ordered with Ultra White or the brand-new Cloudburst Gray.
The Zero Halliburton luggage collection includes a 22-inch carry on and a 26 inch medium travel case. This sets adds a special touch to the two special edition models. Although neither car is equipped with upgrades to its powertrain or performance as such, it’s the same with all other Black Line Lexus models. These two new Black Line models are part of a refreshed RC/ES lineup, which includes other upgrades and new safety features.
