A Ferrari F40 is the new life-size Lego that has arrived in California. Although life-sized Lego vehicles are not new, this brick replica of F40 is the first ever to be made. This iconic model from the 1990s is a Maranello legend. It’s fitting that it gets its own life-size replica made of hundreds of thousands Lego bricks.
Lego claims that this LEGO replica of the famous supercar was made using over 358,000 Lego pieces. A team of builders and designers spent over 1,800 hours developing the model. Another 1,900 hours were required to build it.
The Lego Ferrari F40 is another cool, life-size Lego vehicle. It is over 3,000 pounds (1.361 kilograms). It is 14 feet long (4.3 meters), more than 6 feet (1.8m) wide, and 4 ft (1.22m tall). The wheelbase is 8 ft (2.24m). The interior is also made from Lego bricks.
The Lego Ferrari F40 will also be on display in the Lego Ferrari Build and Race garage. Brick builders and enthusiasts will have the opportunity to photograph the car and sit in the replica brick.
The new Lego Ferrari Build and Race interactive attraction will not only feature a garage but also a test area and a digital track where guests can race their Lego Ferrari against other cars to see which one is the fastest.
On May 12, 2022, the new interactive attraction Lego Ferrari Build and Race will be open. It will be included with your admission to Legoland California Resort.
