This two-seater, open-top model looks amazing.
Lister’s 670-horsepower (499 kilowatts) Jaguar FPace top speed is 200 miles per hour. The tuned F Type from the shop is equally devilish with 666 horsepower (496 kW). Today, the British brand teased a new version of its Knobbly speedster. It looks amazing.
Lawrence Whittaker, owner of Lister, posted a Twitter rendering of the futuristic Knobbly. The original and its continuation models, this one still has an open-top layout with two seats. This one, however, is modern and sleeker than the original Knobbly. It has a bold stance and slim proportions.
We can only guess at its performance, but that’s the problem. Whittaker did not give any clues as to the power source of this new Knobbly. However, it is safe to assume that it will be more powerful than its predecessor. The Jaguar-sourced 3.8-liter Inline-Six engine is used in the continuation Knobbly. It produces 330 horsepower (246 Kilowatts).
The Lister storm II concept that the company showed last year is our best guess for the new Knobbly. Storm uses a Jaguar-sourced 7.8 liter V12 to produce 1,000 horsepower (745 kW). These two concepts would be in direct competition with upcoming hypercars such as the Mercedes-AMG Project One and the Aston Martin Valkyrie.
There is no word yet on when the new Listerknobbly or Storm II will be available. We think the new Knobbly will arrive in Geneva within the next few weeks. Let’s hope these two supercars are available sooner than expected, regardless of the outcome.
