Only three Sians are intended for the UK market.
HR Owen, a London car dealer, has delivered two super-rare Lamborghini Sian supercars for their British owners. Only three of the 63 Lamborghini Sians are going to the UK. The dealer in London is delivering all three.
This Lamborghini is the fastest-accelerating Lamborghini. It boasts a mild hybrid powertrain, which combines a 6.5-liter V12 motor with a 48-volt electric system. The two engines produce 808 horsepower, enough to propel the carbon-fiber-bodied car from zero to sixty-two mph in just 2.8 seconds. The maximum speed is 217 mph (350 km/h).
Lamborghini loves long, witty words. The Sian replaces traditional lithium-ion batteries with an ultra-lightweight supercapacitor. The system is not a Back to the Future gag, but it’s a real technology. It charges the engine’s electrical aid every time the vehicle braking. It is also light at 34 kg (75 lbs) and Lamborghini claims that it is three times lighter than comparable lithium-ion systems.
The Sian also features other tech. The Sian’s cutting-edge carbon fiber monocoque, titanium intake and active aerodynamics play an important role in achieving such impressive performance figures. Rear-wheel steering also helps keep the car stable in corners.
Lamborghini already sold all 63 Sians it planned to produce, each car receiving the Ad Personam personalization treatment. Two UK customers were the first to receive their cars. The grey car features Grigio Nimbus paint and an exposed carbon-weave roofing. Rosso Mars accents are also included. The interior features a Nero Ade interior and Rosso Alala contrasts.
Nero Helene bodywork is used on the darker model, while exposed carbon fiber is used on the engine cover, front lamp inserts and fenders. Accents and decals in Oro Electrum are used to highlight the dark look. The white details on the Pirelli tires make them stand out. The interior mirrors the exterior of the car with Nero Ade leather base and Oro Electrum stitching and highlights.
The two cars seen here represent two-thirds British Sian population, with all three UK-bound Sians headed for London’s HR Owen showroom. The arrival of the third Lamborghini London car will confirm its status as the most successful Lamborghini dealer in terms of sales volume since 1999, when the showroom was opened.
