Lotus launches a new ‘exceptional value’ version of the Evora Sports Car

The GT410 model was designed to make life easier every day.

Lotus has unveiled the GT410, a new Evora version that it claims offers “exceptional value”

The GT410 Sport is on sale, so if you feel the GT410 name is familiar to you, it is because of the GT410 Sport. However, the new GT410 is a more affordable, but better-equipped model that’s intended to be more “everyday” car.

However, the term “cheaper” is not a good idea. Everything is relative in high-performance sports cars. The GT410 Sport is less expensive than the GT410 Sport, which costs PS82,900 in Britain (EUR99,000.00 in Germany).

The GT410 converts many of the optional gizmos on the Sport model to standard fixtures. This means that Sparco seats, air conditioning, and a reverse camera are included. You also get an infotainment system that includes satellite navigation, the Apple CarPlay smartphone connectivity software and a DAB radio.

The GT410 has extra soundproofing to reduce road noise and arm rests on the doors. This is part of the Evora’s quest for better road car credentials. The GT410 has a variety of storage bins that make it more practical. Additionally, the rear window has been increased to improve visibility.

Lotus tweaked the damper settings under the skin to make it more comfortable over bumps and lumps that are common on normal roads. The alloy wheels measure 19 inches at each end and 20 inches at their rear. They are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S all weather tires for greater year-round useability.

These features are in addition to those already available on the Evora range. As part of the deal, red AP Racing brake calipers, silver or gloss black Vspoke cast alloy wheels, cruise control, heated seat, and rear parking sensors were included.

Customers might be interested to know that Lotus also upgraded the GT410 Sport with some more comfortable upgrades before they decide to go for the GT410 model. While the Sport damper settings are still available in the more focused model, it now has the Sparco seats and air conditioning as well as satellite navigation.

Both cars are equipped with a 3.5-liter supercharged, V6 engine with 410 bhp (400 Nm) and 295lb-ft (405 rpm). The GT410’s six-speed manual gearbox can take you from a standstill at 60 mph (96 km/h), to top speed of 186 miles (300 km/h), while the Sport model is slightly quicker (0-60 mph) in 3.9 seconds. The GT410 and GT410 also come with the option to add a six speed automatic gearbox. However, this reduces the top speed by 12 miles (19 km/h).
