Flat Out Autos was a big hit at the 2019 SEMA Show, displaying its conversion of the 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe. Flat Out Autos created a retro-looking SUV, inspired by the original K5 Blazer and also using two-slat grilles from the 1967 and 1968 Chevy C10 pickups. The conversion received positive feedback from potential customers. first deliveries of the vehicle have begun.
The Jonesboro-based company is now teasing a very interesting idea for the future. Flat Out Autos, in a post on its Facebook channel has shown a retro-looking conversion that would be available to GMC owners. It is the same spirit as the K5 Blazer transform.
Although there aren’t any photos of the interior, it is safe to assume that it will remain unchanged from its original form. The Tahoe-based K5 Blazer transformation uses a 2018 Tahoe Tahoe interior without any significant modifications.
We would love to know more. We expect more information and photos from the company very soon. You can view its past work in the gallery and let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
Flat Out Autos is building another K5 Blazer conversion. The company will charge $69,000 to convert one but it doesn’t include the donor car, which must be a 2015-2020 Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon.
