Geilenkirchen’s BMW performance experts have replaced the stock 4.0-liter V8 engine with the 4.4 liter V8 motor from the BMW X5/X6M SAVs. You can increase the power output by adding a few modified turbos, a titanium full exhaust, two racing catalytic converters, reinforced rods and pistons, and an X6M oil cooler. The result is 555 PS (408kW / 547hp), 750 PS (551kW / 740bhp) or 910 Nm (671lb-ft).
The 6-speed M Sport automatic transmission can handle all that torque. It is also available from the X6M.
The power to weight ratio of the Lamborghini Aventador is 2.12kg per horsepower, with a dry weight 1,590 kg (355 lbs). The Lamborghini Aventador, which has 700 PS (515kW/690 bhp), and weighs 1,575 kg, achieves 2.25kg/hr. The 0-100 km/h acceleration takes 3.2 seconds, and the vehicle continues to pull beyond 350 km/h (217 km/h).
Upgraded braking is necessary when there’s that much momentum in a 2.5-ton vehicle. Manhart added a MOVIT brake package that includes 6 piston fixed discs with 396x34mm discs at the front and 4 piston discs with 380x32mm discs at the rear.
A complete carbon fiber kit is available for exterior aerodynamics. This includes the lower spoiler, hood and side skirts. The engine cover and the side mirrors are also made from carbon fiber.
The wheels were made in-house and are Concave One Black Edition monoblock forged wheels. They are 9×20 inches with 255/30ZR20 Continental Sport Contact 5, high performance tires, while the rear wheels are 12×20 inches with 325/25 tires. Threaded coilovers cap off suspension.
Manhart Racing completed the interior with carbon fiber full-shell seats for the MH3 V8 RS Clubsport. A Wiechers roll cage was also added. The middle console also features a Manhart Racing display. It displays driving information such as pending charge pressure, G forces or measured acceleration.
