The V8’s 4.0-liter engine now produces more than 800 horsepower
Manhart isn’t the first to work on the Audi RS. In May 2020, the SUV performance was tuned shortly after its debut. The new project is slightly different because it has a more refined look and almost 100 less ponies. Let’s start with the design.
Visual changes include subtle red accents on the front fascia and side mirrors. A set of Classic Line 24-inch wheels in matching red accents is also available, wrapped in 295/30 ZR24 or 355/25 ZR24 tires. Manhart also applies decals to the body and supplies new floor mats.
There are many more important mechanical upgrades for the car. The engine has undergone extensive modifications, including an intercooler upgrade kit, carbon intake from Eventuri, and ECU mapping. The exhaust system was replaced with stainless steel pipes. All these modifications result in an output of 818 horsepower (602 Kilowatts) & 774 pound-feet (1.050 Newton-meters). To handle the increased torque, the transmission was also upgraded. There is also an option to upgrade your brake system. The stock air suspension has been retained while the suspension has been modified. You have two options when it comes to suspension: software tuning or new couplingrods.
Manhart claims that the RS Q8 is equipped with 200-cell catalysts. However, these converters are not TUV certified. This means that the vehicle will not be legal in Germany. The upgrade is intended only for export. Unfortunately, performance numbers are not available. The RS Q8 can sprint from 0 to 62 miles an hour (0-100 km per hour) in 3.8 seconds. This sprint time should be lower with the Manhart upgrade.
