The MH2 has been redesigned with more power.
Manhart introduced the MH2 in November 2018 as a more powerful version of the BMW M2 Competition. The tuning company will now focus its attention on the M2 performance coupe to prepare for a replacement by a new-generation model.
The F87 generation remains a highly-regarded driver’s car in modern automobile industry. It continues to attract a lot attention from the tuning community and Manhart decided to make a final hardcore version for track use. Dare we say they achieved a remarkable result.
A new turbo kit has been installed under the hood to treat the 3.0-liter twin-turbo motor. The inline-six engine produces 630 horsepower (463 Kilowatts) and 553 pounds (750 Newton-meters) peak torque. A Manhart stainless steel exhaust system has been installed with valve control.
The engine is not the only component that has been upgraded in this modified M2 Competition. The brake system is sourced from the BMW M4 GT4 and features six-piston, 380mm diameter discs on each axle. Original brakes remain at the rear. KW also provided a three-way coilover suspension. The car is fitted with 19-inch wheels and has 265/35 and 295,/30 tires.
Although it looks like an older version of the MH2, the inside tells the whole story. It is indeed a track-ready car with no rear seats and a full roll cage. Recaro sports seats and carbon shift paddles are included, as well as a carbon kit for center console and Awron anauxiliary display. These cabin upgrades surpass the stock M2 competition.
