Maserati partners with Fashion Brand Fragment for Special Ghibli

Only 175 will be available.

Maserati has teamed up with Hiroshi Fujiwara, fashion designer and DJ, and his streetwear brand Fragment in order to create two special editions Ghibli. These are the Operanera or Operabianca and Maserati has produced 175 of them.

Operanera is a body that has both opaque and gloss black finishes. Operabianca is a mixture of opaque black and gloss white. Maserati has not yet released photos of the all black version of its car.

Both have body-color handles and 20-inch matte-black wheels. The Fragment logo is featured on the grille, while the Fashion Brand’s emblem can be found on the C-pillar.

The fenders beneath the trio of ducts are an unusual touch. M157110519FRG is Maserati’s Ghibli code. It refers to the date of Maserati’s first meeting (November 5, 2019, Fujiwara), and also an acronym for Fragment.

The interior is made up of a mixture of leather and Alcantara. The vertical stitching is accented with silver inserts, as well as the Trident at the headrests. Dark blue seat belts are used.

Fragment will also launch a capsule collection, which is only available at Maserati Official channels.

The price of Operanera and Operabianca is still not disclosed by the company. It is also unclear when deliveries will begin.

Maserati is embracing the trend of creating special editons by partnering with fashion companies. The automaker joined forces with China’s CantWAIT to create the popular Ghibli Hybrid Love audacious. It was given a purple body and three layers of paint, which can change depending on the light. Maserati produced only eight of these vehicles and sold them at a Shanghai pop-up shop.
