Let’s all hope that hydrogen-powered cars will look like this.

What’s the future for supercars? If we had to make a comment, it would be that they look like the Matador MH2 Hydrogen Supercar. The new supercar concept is being displayed at the Slovakian Expo Pavilion, Dubai. Visitors can view the car in person. The Matador MH2 Hydrogen-powered car from Slovakia is a major step in car design.

Car companies have three options in today’s ever-changing world of automobile powerplants. To celebrate the end, car companies have two options. They can either stick with traditional internal combustion cars or turn to electrification. Or they can embrace the unique world of hydrogen powered cars. While hybrids and EVs are the most talked about, could hydrogen-powered cars be the future of transportation?

The Matador group definitely believes so. Their sensational MH2 concept vehicle is a great example of the brand’s technical expertise and dedication to alternative fuel sources. Slovak University TUKE developed a unique hydrogen propulsion system for the Matador MH2. Matador boasts 600 horsepower (450 Kilowatts), a top speed at 155mph (250 km/h), a 0-60mph time of just 3.9 seconds and zero emissions.

The impressive green drivetrain provides customers with a vehicle that emits zero emissions and doesn’t require a charging network, such as an EV. Matador MH2 owners can fill their tanks with hydrogen as fast as they would with regular stop gas in an internal combustion engine vehicle, provided that the infrastructure is in place. This fuel source is innovative and solves many of the problems that EVs face as well as those associated with fossil fuel-powered vehicles.

Matador Group was founded in 1905 by one of the first global automotive tire suppliers. Matador was a manufacturer and developer of tires, until 2007, when it sold its tire division to Continental in a joint venture. Matador became one of Europe’s top Tier 1 automotive parts suppliers through a joint venture partnership with Auffer Design. Matador Group, a Slovakia-based company, is channeling all its experience to its future vision with the MH2 idea. This is the beginning of something special.
