Technically, it’s 199 but that’s close enough.
This clip isn’t just fast. Although technically the McLaren 600LT belongs to the entry-level Sports Series it is the highest of this particular series. The McLaren 600LT’s 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 produces only 600 horsepower (441kW). Yes, only is used here. We are used to hearing about its bigger brother, the 720S. It produces 710 horsepower (522 kW), which many consider to be underrated.
This video should help to correct that sin, as the 600LT is spectacular. As the driver shifts through the gears under full throttle, the soundtrack of the V8’s high-revving engine tingles the spine. The McLaren speeds from 65 mph (105 km/h), to 186mph (299 km/h), in only 19 seconds. The final rush comes when the driver takes his 600LT from 114mph (184 km/h), to 199mph (320 km/h), in just 23 seconds. However, the speedometer was still rising slowly but steadily. It might be an entry-level McLaren, but its performance is nothing less than top-level.
Last year, the 600LT was retired from production. The supercar can reach 204 mph (328 km/h) with more space, but the numbers rise in this video so maybe it has more to offer.
