McLaren 600LT Production Run Ending

McLaren London will sell one of the last cars.

McLaren’s 600LT Coupe supercar is now in its final form.

Based on the McLaren 570S, the bottom end McLaren product range, the 600LT is McLaren’s third “long tail” model and the second model made available for road usage following the 675LT.

It weighs in at just 1,247kg (2,749 lbs), which is 96 kg (212 pounds) less than the 570S. The twin-turbo V8 has 600 horsepower and the tail is longer. It comes in at around $240,000 base, but customers will most likely specify a variety of customized options that will increase the price.

McLaren’s flagship London dealership will sell one of the 600 LTs remaining.

McLaren is the best way to get up-to-speed

It has been an amazing experience to be part of McLaren Automotive’s network since the opening of McLaren London on June 21, 2011. “We have seen the brand and range grow over the past seven years, and the popularity and success of the 600LT Coupe shows that McLaren is going from strength to strength,” stated Barney Singh, General Manager of McLaren London, and McLaren Ascot. This particular example is a fitting tribute to this amazing car, thanks to the addition of MSO features like a roof snorkel and carbon fiber front fenders with louvers.

The Coupe’s production runs are ending, but there are still some open-topped 600LT spiders left. It has comparable performance to the hardtop, with a 0-62mph (0-100 km/h) time of 2.9 seconds (or a top speed at 201 mph (324kph), respectively).

“The limited-volume 600LT coupe is yet another milestone in McLaren’s continued development of its ‘Longtail’ sub-brand, established in 2015 by the 675LT models,” stated David Gilbert, McLaren Automotive’s managing director Europe. This Coupe, a MSO-enhanced, unique car, is also the celebration for the 1000th McLaren London car sold.

“Customers who wish to order a 600LT from McLaren Automotive European retailers still have the option to purchase a Spider model, but production will soon be fully allocated.”
