McLaren’s hypercar will do (at least) 391 kph (3243 mph).
McLaren announced that the next Ultimate Series car, BP23 Hyper-GT will be faster than its legendary McLaren F1 at 242 mph. New sketches have been released by the Woking-based company of the interior layout of the car’s three-seat configuration. One shows a speedo of 243 mph (391 km/h).
The F1’s ancestor is the inspiration for the new car. It features a three-seat layout with a central driving position and a central seating position. There will only be 106 BP23s built. This is the same number as F1s. Each of the 106 BP23s has been sold for $2.5 million.
McLaren is still working on the car and the final design has not been revealed. McLaren is expected to unveil its new car in 2018, but it is still in the middle of development. We know very little about the car, except that it will have an insane top speed.

BP23 is not the final name of the car – unlike the Senna and Sena GTR before it (P1, P1 GTR), BP23 will be given a name that reflects its capabilities.
The BP23, being a Hyper-GT, is not meant to race on tracks but rather on roads. Although it can likely to maneuver itself around a track, it is best to leave that to the Senna model. McLaren hopes to create an Ultimate Series car that suits every type of driving it customers will enjoy.
There are many personalization options available for McLarens. McLaren Special Operations will give each BP23 customer the full bespoke treatment.
The production of the gasoline-electric hybrid will begin in the last quarter of 2019, bringing unparalleled joy to the 106 extremely, very wealthy.
