McLaren Special Operations uses the 570S GT4 racecar as an inspiration. However, these vehicles can be driven on roads.

The McLaren F1 is out of reach for many millionaires. This is because auction prices are higher than $10 million. McLaren Newport Beach provided the next best thing to 10 of its most wealthy customers. McLaren Special Operations collaborated with the dealer to create custom MSO X examples 570S Coupe, with exterior inspiration taken from the F1 GTR racecar.

The exterior design of the MSO X 570S draws heavily from the 570S GT4 racing car (gallery down), but both are road legal. The bumpers now have dive planes and the hood has additional intakes. MSO also installed a roof-mounted functional air intake. A tall wing sits on top of the tail and produces 220 pounds (100 kg) more downforce. The biturbo’s 3.8-liter V8 sounds even better with a titanium exhaust. The body is highlighted visually by sections of exposed carbon fiber that has been satin-finished.

MSO uses exposed carbon fiber extensively on the interior, as well as portions of the monocoque and seat shells. Alcantara upholstery is used extensively throughout the cabin. The center console storage box has been removed to save weight. These cars are road legal and retain all useful features such as parking sensors, rearview cameras, air conditioning, and air conditioning. Buyers should not have any problems taking these custom cars to the track, as they come with both six-point racing harnesses (and standard three-point belts).

McLaren Newport Beach already sold ten examples the MSO X 570S Coupe. McLaren Newport Beach recently held a delivery ceremony at a McLaren customer event in Las Vegas, Nevada.
