McLaren Presents Heavily Upgraded Models of MSOX

A special celebration was held for the company to celebrate the special 10 570S coupes.

McLaren Newport Beach was the largest US dealer for the brand. McLaren Special Operations was commissioned to design 10 cars to adapt the look of the 570S GT4. The model was dubbed MSO X. The company held a huge party for buyers when it was time to deliver the vehicles. A new video gives a glimpse into the feeling of receiving one of these motorsport-inspired coupes.

MSO built only 10 of these cars. However, McLaren Newport Beach offered the on-track celebration to more McLaren owners. The MSO X owners were able to enjoy a meal at Gordon Ramsey’s Las Vegas restaurant.

Exterior modifications to the 570S include dive planes in corners and extra intakes in hood. A tall wing is also included. It is said to be capable of producing upforce of 220 pounds (100 kg) per hour. The titanium exhaust reduces weight and improves the sound of the biturbo’s 3.8-liter V8. The interior features a racing-inspired mixture of Alcantara and exposed carbon fiber. This coupe can be used on the track and in the garage. It also features interior amenities such as parking sensors, six-point harnesses and air conditioning.

MSO painted these cars to imitate the McLaren F1 GTR’s past liveries. The similarities are subtle in the designs. Each MSOX X has a different color for its stripes and a color that covers most of its body to mimic motorsport designs. The look is completed with satin-finished carbon fiber. This creates a uniform look across all special editions.
