McLaren Automotive and Nat Bowen have teamed up to create the most colorful Artura yet. McLaren Artura is the first hybrid supercar of its kind. It explores Chromology, which represents psychology behind color and themes of “Art” and “Future”. This is why Artura’s name is so fitting.

Nat Bowen, a British abstract artist, is known for creating vibrant and colorful pieces. Her first solo exhibition in Dubai will feature the Artura car. It will be on display at the ME Dubai hotel from March 31st 2022 to March 31, 2022.

Translucent resin pigments are used to enhance the exterior of McLaren Artura’s art car. The design reflects light and absorbs it, making the vehicle a part of its surroundings.

“We are thrilled to have collaborated Nat Bowen to show the McLaren Artura featuring her multi-layered artwork within the iconic setting of the ME Dubai. “The exhibition was a huge success and attracted a lot of attention from our guests,” said Mohamed Fawzi (Market Director – Middle East & Africa), McLaren Automotive.

McLaren’s first high-performance series-production hybrid, the Artura, is its first. The McLaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture is also used in the Artura. The McLaren Composites Technology Centre, Sheffield, England, designed, developed and manufactures the MCLA. It is McLaren’s key to an electrified future. This is due to global semiconductor production problems.

The Artura’s power comes from a combination of the twin turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine and the “E-Motor” located inside the transmission bell case. The total output of the engine is 671 horsepower (593 kilowatts) & 593 lb-ft (804 Newton-meters).
