It is claimed to sprint up to 60 mph in just 2.1 seconds.
Talking about Indian car brands will likely include Tata and Mahindra, as well as Maruti Suzuki, which is undisputedly the country’s number one brand.
Mean Metal Motors is a relatively new company in India’s automotive market. This company was first mentioned in 2015, when it presented the M-Zero (India’s first supercar). The triple M is now introducing the Azani, an electric hypercar capable of producing up to 1,000 horsepower. The specs of the Azani are impressive. Apart from the 1,000-hp and 738 pound-feet (1,000 Newton-meters) torque output from its electric motors, it also boasts a 220-mile-per-hour (322-kilometer-per-hour) top speed and a sprint to 60 mph (97 kph) in just 2.1 seconds. The 120 kWh battery can also be charged in just one charge and will last for 325 miles (523 km). These figures can be found on the Tesla-looking website of Mean Metal Motors.
Mean Metal Motors stated that the Azani is equipped with an aluminum spaceframe frame for skateboarding that can be used on a variety of models. Modular components are also being used by the company for its hypercar. This is said to reduce supplier margins by 25%. While the Azani will have all the high-tech features that a new car should, one thing the company is proud of is its use of AI in micro-factories to improve efficiency and lower costs. Over-the-air updates will be available on the car. We’ll let you decide the design, but we will say that Azani’s shape (especially the front) is a good representation of the company’s logo. Mean Metal Motors has yet to release the Azani in metal but it accepts reservations.
