Meet The Elektron Quasar – A 2,300-HP All-Electric German Hybrid Car.

It can sprint up to 62 in less than 2 seconds.

The Elektron One was introduced nearly a year ago by Elektron Innovativ. It boasted a staggering 1,341 horsepower (1,060 watts) and zero-emission propulsion. The Geneva Motor Show was expected to see it in metal, but that’s not what we know.

In an official release, Elektron Motors has released another concept from the German-based firm. Meet the Elektron Quasar, an all-electric hypercar. Way More than the first model.

The Elektron claims that the Quasar Hypercar will produce more than 2,300 horsepower (1,715kW) and is driven by four electric motors (presumably one per wheel). The company will be able to use the Elektron Smart Torque Vectoring System, (ESTV) at the track due to the incredible power it produces. The entire electric powertrain is expected to weigh in at 3,307 pounds (1.500 kilograms).

We’re not surprised, then, that the Quasar can sprint up to 62 miles an hour (100 km/h) in 1.65 seconds. It also has a limited top Speed of 280 mph (405 km/h). Meet The Elektron Quasar - A 2,300-HP All-Electric German Hybrid Car.

These numbers are only part of a press release. They will not be actual production numbers for the hypercar when Elektron Motors launches it in 2023. The Quasar will only be produced in 99 units, and delivered to its customers within three years. What is the price? The current exchange rate is 2.2 million euros, or approximately $2.6 million.

The Elektron One was not cancelled by Armagan Arabul, but it has been postponed. The official launch of the smaller Elektron One will be delayed for eight months.
