All things Alcantara

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class, especially in AMG trim, is a powerful machine. Although we assume that this Mercedes-AMG C43 4MATIC sedan is similar from the outside, truthfully, we don’t know. Carlex Design has sent this set of photos showing their latest interior design project featuring the AMG. We are not given any details about the new passenger cabin. However, the Carlex press release mentions that an exterior redux is being planned so we may see more of it in the future.

It should be stunning if it is anything like its sleek interior. Alcantara is unlikely to be part of this equation as it seems Carlex used all the inside. Technically, that could be suede, since the company doesn’t specify the materials used to transform the Merc’s cabin. However, based on past projects by lavish interior designers, Alcantara seems like a solid guess.

It covers almost the entire dash. The passenger side is the exception. It covers the entire headliner, interior pillars and most of the steering wheel centers. Contrast the dark color with bright highlights, which could be red or even orange. Carlex does not provide any color information. However, we do know that the interior is bold and athletic and was creatively designed.

Whatever their colors, the color scheme seems to work well together. The design of the seats is also very appealing, as well as the black-stained wood on the doors. We assume the car owner loves Alcantara. However, we don’t think it’s something we would enjoy having it all over our dash .

Let’s just say that it is everything we have come to expect from Carlex.
