Affalterbach launches new branding campaign to mark AMG’s 55 year corporate history.
Hans Werner Aufrecht, an engineer, and Erhard Melcher, a sports car manufacturer, founded the company in 1967. Affalterbach launches a brand campaign to commemorate the 55-year history of Mercedes-AMG.
The “55 Years – Changing the Game” theme is the focus of the new brand campaign. The iconic Mercedes-AMG vehicles, such as the 300 SE 6.9 AMG racing touring vehicle, 300 E 5.6 “The Hammer”, and the CLK DTM are at the forefront of this claim.
The campaign’s main star is the production version Mercedes-AMG One. This car puts Formula 1 technology on a road vehicle. Mercedes-AMG claims that Formula 1 hybrid drive technology has been brought to the roads for the first time.
The Vision AMG design analysis gives a glimpse at the future Mercedes-AMG. This four-door coupe houses AMG.EA, which is currently being designed for all-electric performance models using revolutionary e-drive technology.
