It is the most expensive E class money can buy.
The German pricing for Mercedes’ latest superwagon is now available. Its base price starts at EUR112,907. It boasts 571 horsepower (420 Kilowatts) as well as 553 pound-feet (553 Newton-meters). The E63 Estate standard is supercar-level performance. It can reach speeds of 62 mph (101.0 kph) and electronically limited speeds of 155 mph (22.5 kph).
The S version is available for EUR124,688 if you are willing to spend more. The power output is increased to 612 horsepower (450 kW) as well as 627 lbft (850 Nm). This reduces the time taken to complete the sprint by one tenth of an second. The top speed remains at 155 mph (225 kph). However, both E63 models are available at an additional cost with the optional AMG Driver’s Package which increases the limiter to 180mph (290 km/h).
Mercedes-AMG offers a more luxurious model if you are willing to spend the extra money. For only EUR139,980 (about 152,851), you can get the E63 S Estate Edition 1. This range topper will not bring you more power for the premium that you’ll pay. The limited-run Edition 1 is all a series cosmetic tweaks inside and out. You can choose from fancy designo selenite gray magno or night black magno paints, as well as the AMG Night Package, body strips, and matte black 20 inch forged wheels with a high-gloss polished hub flange.
The regular E63 S is shown above, but Mercedes claims the Edition 1 comes with black nappa leather upholstery and yellow contrast stitching. There are also carbon fiber trims and other yellow accents throughout the cabin. To remind you that this is not an E63, the steering wheel has the “Edition 1” badge.
Mercedes-AMG has already begun taking orders for all three models, and they will be available in German dealerships starting June. The closest domestic rival to the E63 S Estate, the Audi RS6 Avant Performance is available locally starting at EUR117,000.
