The Edition 55’s cabin is available in a combination of red and black. These shades are available in Nappa leather with two-tone Nappa leather. The Mercedes Dinamica microfiber material is used on the steering wheel. The center spoke bears the “55 AMG” badge. AMG-branded floormats are made of black velour and red contrasting stitching. Red illumination is provided by the stainless steel tread plates.

The powertrain is not affected by the package. The 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 produces 577 horsepower (430 Kilowatts) as well as 627 pound-feet (625 Newton-meters of torque) from the twin-turbo engine. A nine-speed automatic transmission transfers the power.

AMG-branded car covers are also available for Edition 55 buyers.

The Edition 55 model in Germany adds EUR17.850 to the cost of a G63. AMG announced the model and said that “more birthday surprises” would follow.

Hot on the heels Mercedes showcasing a special G-Class as part of a partnership with Palace Skateboards, the Edition 55 is now available. The SUV features a white horse prancing in front of a starry background. A45 S, SL63 and AMG GT63 are also included in the collection.

Spy shots show that there are more G-Class variants. The 4×4 squared model adds a rugged option to the lineup. It features parts such as a raised suspension, roof rack and ladder at the rear. There is also what appears to be an above-the-window light bar.

The G63 has been refreshed. The camouflage suggests that exterior changes are minor. The MBUX infotainment software could be updated inside the vehicle.
