According to and MB Passion, production of the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series has ended. The hardcore version was slightly more than 1,700 units.

The GT Black Series was launched in July 2020, bringing back the high-performance branding. The engine is a twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V8 that can rev to 7,200 RPM. It produces 720 horsepower (537 Kilowatts) as well as 590 pound-feet (801 Newton-meters). The mill uses a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox that is reinforced for extremely quick shifts.
GT Black Series can reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.1 seconds, and 124 mph (200 km/h) in 9.0 seconds. The GT Black Series can reach speeds of 202 mph (325 km/h).
This body is made up of parts from the GT3 or GT4 race cars. There are some tweaks, such as a larger grille or a manually adjustable front splittingter. The grille and fenders have large vents. Attached to the rear is a massive wing that can be electronically adjusted up to 20 degrees.
The coupe set a lap record of production cars around the Nurburgring Nordschleife in 2020 with a time 6:43.61 seconds. A Manthey Performance Porsche 911 GT2 RS won the race with a time 6:38.835. To have a car similar to the one on the Ring, a customer needed to upgrade the GT2 via Porsche’s Tequipment accessory line.
The US GT Black Series’ starting price was $326,050, with a $1,050 destination fee. They arrived in the country in 2021. The base price for a German citizen was EUR335,240.
